Mr. Knight is a licensed journeyman and master electrician and has over 50 years of experience in the fire alarm, public safety signaling, emergency communications and electrical field. He is a registered private vocational school instructor teaching apprentice, journeyman, and master electrician and life safety system courses along with continuing education programs. He is a principal member and past chair the NFPA 72 Technical Committee on Public Emergency Alarm Reporting Systems. He served as the Superintendent of Fire Alarm & Communications and Chief Inspector of Wires for the City of Newton, Massachusetts Fire Department for 27 years.
Overview: Fire Alarm Inspection, Testing and Maintenance Certified Technician. Developed by the IMSA Educational Foundation and presented by the International Public Safety Institute Instructors (IPSI).
